I really didn't think that anything could cloud the happiness that comes from 1. Finally moving into my own apartment again and 2. Getting a second cat. But oh, was I wrong. Well, not so much cloud anything, but it was really, really annoying, and put me in quite a sour mood...

I dislike kids sometimes (read: most of the times, if not always)...

There are a couple of little girls who run around the neighborhood, I'd guess they're around 7 years old or so. They like to knock on doors and do silly stuff like making you read some note they've brought along or ask questions and then just leave.

But for some reason, today was different. They actually walked into the house and demanded that I should sing a song. I thought well... there's no harm in that. So I did. Then they wanted me to sing something else, but I was already getting tired of entertaining them, so I declined.

So they decide that for some reason, they think it's funny to lift my skirt! I was wearing a long skirt since it's way too warm to wear anything else right now. And they don't just try to do it once, they actually conspire (in very audible whispers) to surround me and lift it both back and front for some damn reason. 8[ But I sat down on the stairs to the second floor and crushed their plans.

So they proceed to start touching my hair and trying to ruffle and tousle it, and one of the things I just can't stand is someone touching my hair or my head without my consent.

So they get tired of that and decide to scheme some more. So I go to the kitchen to get some water, and before I know it, they're following me and actually try to pull down my skirt! At that point, I was getting really fed up with them and having my personal space invaded over and over again, so I told them that if they weren't going to behave, they would have to go home or at least get out of the house.

And they left. But not before telling me that I had to tell my dad that I was unfair. e_e;; Right.

Grr... I'm so glad I'm moving away. I still have no idea how they figured that coming into someone else's house and do that was okay. I mean, I know I went to my neighbors' houses when I was a kid, but I wouldn't dream of ever doing anything like that to an adult. /8
